It  is a water based, ready to use, cold applied rubberized bitumen emulsion coating designed to provide excellent damp proofing properties for concrete, cement, roofing felt, mastic asphalt, and corrugated iron, as a water and moisture barrier. The product dries to form a black flexible coating. Bituguard R complies with the requirements of JS 1193, ASTM D 1227 Type III Class 1, and ASTM D3747 Type I. It also complies with concrete curing requirements of ASTM C309.
